I opened Angel in 1978 on West Fourth Avenue, beside the Jerry’s Cove pub. Angel later moved to West Broadway, spent 17 years on Robson Street and then moved 15 years ago to No. 2 Powell Street in the Gastown district of Vancouver, Canada.
