This Desigual T-shirt is called Tika and is a nod to the explorers of Antarctica (spelled Antarctika on the shirt, which also has some writing in Spanish)
I once was at a party where someone asked: “Have you been to Antarctica lately and seen what’s happening there?” Amazingly enough, three people replied they had visited the remotest of continents. For most of us, going to the South Pole is but a dream that will never come to fruition, mainly because of the cost – at least $10,000. The designers at Desigual are probably among this group. After all, temperatures in Antarctica can plunge to minus 89 degrees C in winter.
Still, we like the T-shirt, the related shirt and this men’s jacket, which has a stylish blue plaid vest that can be removed. For those seriously thinking about heading to the South Pole, the info about the 11 Wonders of the Antarctic is here.

This Desigual shirt is called Pole and has “Antarctica” emblazoned above the pocket; the pocket, collar and button-up strip in front have a contrasting pattern that includes images of elk (or are they reindeer?)

This is a new Desigual jacket that has double-breasted buttons, zip pockets in front and has a snappy blue-plaid vest that is removable after your polar expedition.
At left are the early explorers of the South Pole.

Oh, and those little white dots floating down the screen? It’s snowing on my blog until Christmas.
