Angel Vancouver is located at No. 2 Powell Street in the Gastown district of Vancouver, Canada. Our store is on the corner of Powell & Carrall Street in Maple Tree Square, where Vancouver began. The photo above shows what the location of my store looked like in 1886.
We had quite a weekend. U2 played its first two shows of its 2015 tour in Vancouver, and the Dublin rockers even partied above our store one of those nights during a private party at the Diamond nightclub. Another Dublin musician, James Vincent McMorrow, played a free concert in Maple Tree Square, in front of my store, on Saturday night, and earlier in the day I saw actor/director William Macy get into a cab in front of my store:
