We’ve just received our shipment of new Desigual boots for fall-winter 2013 at Angel Vancouver. There are some cool tall blue boots with patent leather toes, some short green suede boots for a more casual but sophisticated look, and there are some brightly patterned rubber boots for rainy days that are practical yet stylish.

Today’s video is by Linda Ronstadt, in light of the recent news that she has Parkinson’s disease and can no longer sing. She started out in the mid-1960s with the L.A. group the Stone Poneys and went on to become the top country/rock woman singer of the 1970s. Hearing her version of Heat Wave always reminds me of Topanga Canyon. Part Mexican, she also sang in Spanish. The video below is Linda singing her 1974 hit You’re No Good:
