It’s not every day that you get 21 million people looking at your store window in 48 hours. But thanks to a new music video by the nine-woman South Korean K-pop group Twice, which posted the video for Likey on YouTube at 6 p.m. on Monday, Angel has received amazing worldwide exposure that is growing by the minute.
The camera crew also filmed inside our store, shooting Twice lead singer Jeongyeon looking inside Angel while singing: “There are so many pretty things to wear.”

The video was shot entirely in Vancouver and its suburbs, featuring the Gastown Steam Clock, the Europe Hotel in Maple Tree Square (Angel is located on the corner of the square), some of the other local Gastown shops, a back alley in Gastown, Stanley Park, the White Rock pier, a Steveston gas station and some residential streets:
