Todd Rundgren wrote and sang some great songs in the early 1970s: Hello It’s Me, I Saw the Light, Can We Still be Friends. And more recently, Bang on the Drum.

A couple of years ago, he performed in New York City wearing a Desigual T-shirt (far left) that was designed by the company owner, Thomas Meyer. Here’s a video of that show:On Aug. 1, 2018, Todd released this video, which shows Todd’s drummer wearing a Desigual monkey shirt:

Todd currently lives on the Hawaiian island of Kauai, where he performed I Saw the Light and It Wouldn’t Have Made Any Difference with Daryl Hall (of Hall & Oates) at Todd’s house:Here’s another song performed at Daryl’s House, Can We Still be Friends: Rundgren engineered and produced a bunch of hit albums: Stage Fright for The Band, Straight Up by Badfinger, We’re an American Band by Grand Funk Railroad, Bat Out of Hell by Meat Loaf, New York Dolls by New York Dolls, Skylarking by XTC. But it was the Meat Loaf record that allowed him to buy his place in Hawaii. Hello It’s Me is still one of my favourites:
