Desigual VIVELASTICO vest.$134. Part of Desigual’s Spring-Summer 2014 collection
Now at Angel Vancouver
We received a new Desigual shipment this week that included a vest for women in two colours: pink and green. The latter is perfect for Celtic Fest celebrations this weekend in Vancouver, including the Blarney Stone pub’s three-day Paddy Weekend, which will feature Irish dancing and music on Carrall Street in front of my store starting at noon Saturday March 15.
Here are some of the new arrivals from Desigual this week:
The new video above is by Spanish indie singer-songwriter Anni B Sweet, who first gained notice when she did a folk-pop version of a 1985 song Take on Me, written by Norwegian pop group a-ha. Ani’s real name is Ana López. In the video above, she’s wearing a Desigual dress and the guitarist is wearing a Desigual Toucan T-shirt, both from the Spring-Summer 2014 collection ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Desigual’s slogan is La Vida es Chula (Life is Cool)! It reflects the brand’s way of thinking, which is influenced by the Mediterranean, the sun, light, passion and a lust for life, installed with a playful and creative attitude that says: Be confident, don’t be afraid to be yourself.
Today’s music video is Invisible, a new song by U2, Ireland’s most famous band:
The video, directed by Mark Romanek, was shot in a Santa Monica airport hangar in January.
