Today’s music video is a new song, Rule the World, by Canadian band Walk Off the Earth:The band plays a sold-out show in Vancouver at the Vogue Theatre on Friday May 29, 2015. The group might be best known for its Gotye cover of Somebody I Used to Know, which had the five band members playing one guitar; the video has been viewed online 165 million times. Here’s the band’s latest cover of Rude by another Canadian band, Magic!, who dropped into my store last time they opened for Maroon 5 in Vancouver:While enroute to Vancouver, Walk Off the Earth band member Sarah Blackwood, who is seven months pregnant, got kicked off a United Airlines flight Wednesday because her 23-month-old son was crying. Click here to see the interview Sarah did with Global News about the incident, which aired today and has created an uproar on social media. The airline maintains Sarah and her child were removed from the flight because “the child could not be secured for takeoff.”
