Hawaii Five-O star Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Det. Chin Ho Kelly on the TV series, dropped in to buy a Desigual shirt this past weekend while the show was shooting for a few days in Vancouver.
AÂ young woman in her 20s, who was in the store at the same time, recognized Kim and asked if he was on the Hawaii Five-O show. “Yes, I’m Daniel,” he said, shaking her hand.”Thanks for watching the show.” The teenager was thrilled to have met Kim, previously a cast member of the TV series Lost.

Today’s video is Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders singing Angel of the Morning, which was first a hit in 1968 for Merrilee Rush and again in 1981 for Juice Newton; the song was written by Chip Taylor (real name: James Wesley Voight, the brother of actor Jon Voight and uncle of Angelina Jolie; Taylor wrote many hit songs, including Wild Thing, which became a 1966 hit for the Troggs and shocked the Monterey Pop Festival the next year when performed by Jimi Hendrix, who ended his show by setting fire to his guitar and smashing it):
